I feel, no matter what the problem a person has (drug addiction, or what ever) a lot of people can have the same feelings as Trent as he wrote this. I have a social problem and feel it has caused me to push away and hurt so many people. I have kept distance for so many years now for fear of hurting someone. We all have something we would do almost anything to take back something we have said to someone. I use to be priscribed a pain med that is most likely the strongest and comes in patch form. One day my brother and I were on the verge of a fist fight because he wanted it (he had a drug problem). I got pissed and ripped the patches off my arm and said "choke on 'em!" as I through them to the ground and then I drove off. Several months later he did. He put a new patch of high dose pain killer that was 3 days worth of medicine in his mouth. It cause anaphylactic shock and his throat closed off and he died on the way to the hospital. They brought him back but it was too late. He had severe brain damage and there was no hope. There is nothing more difficult than having to make the decision on "pulling the plug". And my words haunt me all the time. Lesson, watch what you say, it could take away something very precious to you. This is all true and watching your brother lie in a bed in an almost vegatative state for 3 months because your mother wants to at least give him a chance and all comes to not is heartbreaking. |

This song really hits home for me. At the time of this I am two months from 41 years old. I am not saying I am old by any means but the amount of hardship and loss in my life feels enough for being 80 years old. An 8 year marrige that was all a lie, then she wanted me back to crush my heart again, abusive childhood, my brothers drug overdose and the pain of watching him die a slow death because of brain damage that made him as close to a vegetable as possible, after 38 years of being put down my dad threatened to kill me and I blacked out and almost killed him, I could go on and on. Life does suck, but it wasen't meant to be good. If you have your faith in the right place and understand, all of this is a test, pass this long very difficult test and eternal life is yours. And all your tears will be wiped away. Life is hard, but is worth living. If you do what God instructs, the second death has no power over you. (And yes, Christians listen to Static X, this is not anything but my feelings and beliefs, you don't have to bash me for it, but if you must, do what you will.) |

Hey, say this to Ozzy (in front of his wife Sharon) and you will feel lower than whale poop by the time Sharon O tells you what she thinks of you and how much this song most likely means to her. This song (as all of Ozzy's songs) come from his heart, from the very first song he wrote for Black Sabbath til the present. If you are so hellbent on trashing his later song writing, YOU ARE NOT A TRUE OZZY FAN! Life changes as people get older and the inportant things start to become family. If you can't figure that out you have A LOT to learn! |

This song is about scat. It is a fetish where people get off on eating other peoples poop. Look scat up and you will see how sick people really are (unless you are under 18). I know because of a freaky family member that wanted to gross me out, he succeeded! Think about it, after ingesting fecal matter (intentionally or on purpose) your bowel will ache because of toxins.
