Yeah I don't even understand how you could have possibly come to this conclusion. Obama - while I don't hate the guy as a person - has definitely not been that great as a president. |

Clearly this song is about Rube Goldberg machines. Each link in the chain will soon pass and the next will be triggered. Why are you fools so blind to the truth? |

I'm going through a bit of a folk music phase. It used to be post-rock and instrumental stuff like Explosions in the Sky, and although I still listen to them, I'm listening to folk a lot more now.
Also, am I the only one who, every time I visit a Bandcamp website, it becomes a lengthy quest to find all of the free music I possibly can? I think I have a problem. |

I love this song because I can relate to its sense of loneliness, "And I feel stuck watching history repeating /Oh am I just a kid who knows he’s needy?"
The lyrics are so perfect and the guitar and harmony compliment the mood 100%. I can not express accurately how excellent I feel this song is.
For me, it's about treating your loneliness as a gift, so that you can fill it with God instead of people. It's a real lesson, that. |

Sigur Ros is an Icelandic band. They speak and sing in Icelandic. However, even if you DID speak Icelandic, this song (and the rest of the accompanying album) wouldn't make any sense, because it was written in Hopelandic.
Hopelandic is complete gibberish, literally. It is essentially using your voice as an instrument.
In our case, since we speak English, this makes little difference.
