I think this is actually about sin. In the first verse it's about doing drugs and "motherfuck" is said all the time. The second half is written out of satans point of view. This guy has to pay the price for his sins. In this "I think I wanna know ya know ya" part the devil is tempting him. The song ends with a cliffhanger, because we still don't know, what his decision will be. This stuff is really strong. I hope these kids will think well about what their decision will be. |

To be honest, when i heared it for the first time, i just tried it, because its 13 minutes long and i wanted to know, how this works. And i loved it at the first try. I listened to it again and again and again for about 3 hours, I'm not kidding. Still love it and can't listen to it only once, it always leaves me wanting more ;) |

Death comes to pick up the narrator. The narrator doesn't fight him and is glad to go. Maybe because of depression "Who is much more than a friend, but never by my side?" Death. Whoo-hoo "All beginnings are an end, in the blackness there’s a light" First glimps of heaven's gates? "Try to memorize your smell it reminds me of a field" Maybe, because death has a scythe ^^ "Take your hand against my own if theres some finger i can grip" The narrator invites death to take him "I cant touch you only once you always leave me wanting more" Tired of life? Flirting with death? Dude, this line gives me goosebumps "Let me know when I'm in love let me die when I'm in love" I kind of read this line independently from the rest of the song. The "story" is over, I think, this is a statement: Let me live until i'm comtended with my life, you can let me die then. Don't let me end up like the guy in this story. I absolutely love this song |

As livinlife94 already said, every verse is about one of the deadly sins 1. Gluttony 2. Pride (an old friend who likes what he sees) 3. Lust 4. Envy 5. Wrath (released pressure) 6. Sloth (Watching tv?) 7. Greed I think the mystery disease is somehow the devil, everything evil and bad in us. We can't shake him of. He will always try to tempt us. great song |
