| While listening to the song I'd might agree with stellarabella's comment that an ex girlfriend has fallen in love..... Though it seems to me that Alex Turner wrote and is addressing this song to himself, in some way he's saying to himself to snap out of it, since he has fallen deeply love. Following the continuing pattern of the album "Do I want to be yours? Are you mine? I wanna be yours! Be with you forever. Is forever for everyone?" and taking in consideration the catchy, almost pop, rhythm of the song this the part in the record where the message is clear: it happened, it's over, move on. | |
