| Coldplay – Amsterdam Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| It's about someone who is desperate for something to happen, and tries to reach their resolution as fast as possible, but tries too hard and too fast, and so collapses into either depression or a long-term meltdown. "If I, if I'd only waited, I'd not be stuck in this hole" It's happened to me before when I tried to move a friendship along at a million miles an hour. So generally this song is about regretting a decision you made to the point you want to end your life - there is a suicide reference at the end - but then, someone out of nowhere will save you and put a smile on your face. Beautiful! <3 I'm a 15 year old boy. Nobody in my school respects me, and I have no friends, despite all my effort to make friends. However, songs like this help me to remember my mistakes so I can correct them and be more optimistic in general. | |

| Suicide Silence – Cross-Eyed Catastrophe (feat. Alexia Rodriguez) Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| It's about Mitch trying to help someone through a difficult time in their life, it's either about drug addiction or OCD, not sure which one though. | |

"We're back again, you know we're not fucking around Got a bottle of jack in our hands You tryna' keep up kid? Let's see who hits the ground We've drank the drinks We've done the drugs Clearly we don't remember We've come so far We've shown them all Without us you'd fall and fade away" This is to do with the fact that although they're (the band) addicted to drugs and alcohol, they don't seem serious about anything but actually they are, they want to improve the music industry. "They say it all breaks down to keeping your feet on the ground My sole intention is keeping my head in the clouds" Singer feels like his life isn't very good, and he uses the drugs to take his mind off things that worry/upset him. "They say that I can't last a day in the real world I say you wouldn't survive one night in mine" People see the singer as cowardly, as he's escaping from problems the wrong way (drugs/alcohol) Don't know about the second part though. "Notorious and shit I wouldn't trade it for the world I'm infamous but damn you can't help but love this shit Notorious and shit I wouldn't trade it for the world I'm infamous but damn you can't help but love this shit You can't help but love this shit" He doesn't want to be famous/infamous or well-known in any way, but he can't help himself because the drugs have control of him, he's insane and stands out in the crowd. "I'm everything we need to make this scene what it should have been Remember platinum albums, sold out stadiums, leave it to me Let's tell the truth, not to be rude but we're all irrelevant This music's dead with a bullet in its head Let's wake it up" Clarifies what they were taking so seriously in verse 1. "Whoa Whoa It's so insane, I'm so insane Going insane, I'm so insane Leave it to me from here Leave it to me from here" Good feeling from the perspective of insane person (himself) and optimistic view of music's future. So, there you go guys! That's the meaning of "Closure" |
