the lyrics are referring to the cunny grope lane which was the equivalent to the red light district in an English medieval town. That is to say it is about going down to this sleazy place to loose your virginity (Go pop your cherry down in Cunny Grope Lane) The word 'paupers' is mentioned both linking the song to the album and creating this image of a vile run down slummy area. In a more general sense I think it is about being obsessed by sex. I hope this can help, also it is worth mentioning that this was only available as a bonus track on the iTunes version of the west rider album. Very annoying if you do not have iTunes. |
