I really like this song... it's not quite just any other love song. I'm not sure, there's more compassion in this, rather than just passion. If you know what I mean. Maybe it's just me. It seems different. |

I love this song, it's so beautifully written for it's meaning.. Davy is expressing how our earthly affection and love for one another is never going to fill your heart. The only love that can make you complete is the love of Christ. He's asking that he can look past the 'epidermis girl' and find something deeper than just another girlfriend. |
