This sums up his frustration With the women who just wanted to fuck Eminem talking game trying to play like it's love. He was in love with two other women who constantly did the same exact type of thing to him as addicts, he can see through it. it's actually sad to me that he can't trust anyone because anyone he really likes is behind a curtain and groupies are what gets behind his curtain everyday with the same story, the story portrayed here. Always breaking any expectation they ask him to entertain. This part is the core of the song; ----First thing you said: I'm not fazed; I hang around big stars all day. I like how he's describing his entire life and summing it up while giving it meaning simultaneously.. reminding us who the fuck he is.. he's saying, I'm fucking Maynard, we're fucking tool. I see y'all panning our potential before you witnessed what we are still completely capable of, not only capable but more so in their wisdom that only grows with time than anything you could even imagine. To move backwards would invalidate everything they ever stood for. To their core they are a fucking tool of creation, inspiring the warriors of the world to continue on until we become masters of time and space, like Hiro always was and always will be. A warrior. Relevant always, defending honor and innocence, which will always need protection. It will never be false. Stand up and fight, no matter who where or when, how old or how much it hurts. Christian music aimed at Christians is preaching to a choir who already believes, and in my opinion should be more properly labeled as "worship songs for people who already believe in jesus to aid in their prayers they are already saying" Most non-believers will run away screaming from anything of the sort. This on the other hand...makes you think, makes you feel, makes you understand, at a soul level what its like to find yourself betraying a friend, to realize the evil that men do is not always others for you to scorn. | Absolutely incredible, was hoping for further insight but noone else has posted. As always btbam is deeply deep and ambiguous, but I get the idea that he is traveling through time and space in his mind, astrally or mentally I cannot be sure, as the subconscious mind is extremely expansive and he could be manifesting these decisions he is faced with as a visual narrative, but after the last two albums it also seems possible that he is one or both prospects and is in a form of hibernation, or recuperating from the demise of the worlds he decimated.. possibly the man in robes is a night owl and he is trying to decide who to follow, them or himself? Arguably the heaviest music I've ever heard is smashed into its position between soft, beautiful interludes of love lost and pain delicately described by gentle waves of melodic entropy and lament.. "built to destroy, born to dominate.. " these words are more aggressively uttered than any other "heavy" riffs than I've heard and impact the mind with a dominant chordance I may have heard similarly done but never with such sick, heavy, anger and malice while simultaneously keeping the writer distant, simply describing this malevolence with perfect diction and clarity, really nailing into place the hardness of the character and their commitment to the cause, not unlike the writer Tommy himself and the rest of btbam who are wholly committed to their vision, their opus, Magnum in every sense of the word. I'm gonna say that if you want to go a bit deeper, play this song alone with headphones and just.. listen.. it's gotta be deeper than drugs or maturity. Think about it.. the ascending, creepy background tones.. "You, showed me how to say, EXACTLY what you say, in that very special way..."??? Not creepy? Ok I'll elaborate.. ever had that creepy kid that wore your style, copied your slang, etc.. think about that, but now deeper. Maybe it's not even creepy, it's just, you have an admirer, and imitation is the highest flattery.. So obviously he loves a girl. Forget the drug theory and get literal. He literally says, I love youuuuu... It's true.. Sooo lol.. on that note. He has been shown.. what you say, what she says, how she says it... How long do you think it might take to learn someone so well? Would an interested, invested partner be so patient with such an unknowing lover, waiting for him to catch up when she already miles or levels of hotness above him or whatever the gap is caused by..
