I think this song makes fun of a lot of the popular music on the radio. It pretty much is saying that for most popular songs that lyrics are meaningless and random "you sneeze achoo" and most of you songs are about having sex with multiple women at clubs. Pretty funny song actually. |

In my opinion this song show the self conflict of someone who is trying to trust someone who is their nemesis. One reason is the line "I look in your face and spit in your eye"showing the have distrust and hate for this person. Also the line "quo modo, shadow to light" quo modo being Latin for "in what manner" and shadow to light being opposite, I see the line as asking how can something suddenly become the opposite of itself (going from hating someone to having to trust them). With that I see the meaning as "I'll trust you even though every bone in my body say otherwise."Again this is my opinion feel free to disagree, but don't be as dick about it saying i'm a complete idiot for thinking this. |
