nostalgic moments exactly! and the verses are like the random thoughts that just pop in and out of our heads that's why it sounds so random....but there is a coherent thought...that's what makes the lyrics of this song genius. I love that the killers songs could mean different things to different people. So many artists can only write what they feel...but brandon can write his experience and make it everyone else's as well.....amazing

yes!!!! totally agree that's what I hear in the verses the random things in your mind that bounce around....but then there are some moments about relationships in general...maybe not just about a girl

he says "and we don't need to satisfy tonight...so take your eyes off of my PRIDE tonight"....if you watch any of the live performances of this song you'll see that he says pride and points to his head or temple every time. And of course this makes much more sense to the whole of the song and it's lyrics than "bride" does..... |
