Silversun Pickups – Gun-Shy Sunshine Lyrics 11 years ago
This is just my opinion, this song is about relationship with someone who is not at all like you. "Gun shy sunshine" can mean the person doesn't enjoy violence and/or is sweet and innocent. While you hold on to your "headstrong highlights" because that is who you are. You're different from that other person , however you two share something similar "with our hands drawn and eyes dried". I think this means both of you will still always share a special connection/bond with one another.

Brian Head Welch – Washed by Blood Lyrics 11 years ago
What a deep song about living your life believing in God.. and not giving up and killing yourself.

Oh, and that is one of the most beautiful endings to a song I've ever heard.

Great question, I don't know either. Maybe something like Life of Vulnerable Extremities.

After "Father! I live for you now!" , in the background he is singing "Bow down, Adonai, bow down Adonai, bow down Adonai" . Adonai means God in Hebrew.

Oh I thought he was saying "summon" instead of "something". That was rather weird.

It sounds like he's singing about the truth of society and how screwed up it is.

This is very heavy metal sounding. I like it.

Sorry, but he really did say 'oblique'. Listen carefully and you can hear the 'b'. You're right about #2 though.

Blur – Caravan Lyrics 12 years ago
Perhaps Pan is right. I think this song is simply about Damon's feelings towards Graham's leave but also about the relationships between the band members. 'Caravan' refers to the band , or family (in this case, Graham, Alex, and Dave).

Damon is eager to get back the good times when "everything was easy" maybe. Damon feels he's been and still is a "clown" to everyone, but he says "I believed I was strong, but you are the one" (the one is Graham, but could also be all the members of the band). I really think he's trying to say that he wants to get the band back together but..

"And when it comes, you'll feel the weight of it, the weight of it, and the day will come when you'll get away from it"

Personally I think Damon is saying that even if they never get back together, it won't matter anyway because life carries on and people change. That's just my interpretation of it.

And although this seems sad, in my opinion, this song is quite uplifting.

I always get chills when listening to this song… Damon's right about the lyrics.. everything. Too bad he didn't turn away from Justine just like that.

Green Lizard – No One Knew Lyrics 12 years ago
Love can be a frustrating thing. Please don't let it take over your life because my favourite thing to do in the whole world is to enjoy life. It should be yours as well. Well , I hope you find the right guy after some time. Trust me all it takes is a little patience.
Take care, cheers.
