@[ex:8251] nihilo I use the analogy of a flashlight in a dark closet. The Holy Spirit of course being the flashlight. When the light is turned on it OBLITERATES the darkness. Breathe into me is him crying out to God to breathe "the breath of life" into him. Correct everything in Christianity is spiritual. Suicide? spritual. murder? spiritual. Lying? spiritual.death? spiritual. It ALL comes back to the fact that we NEED to be reborn, the breath of life ONLY Jesus can offer or provide. BREATHE INTO ME is a cry for REDEMPTION, RESTORATION, RENEWAL....... LIFE !!! I'm a 60 year old RED FAN saw them saturday and LOVED it !!! |

12 Stones is an INTENSELY serious Christian Band who's message is OFF the chain phenomenal. Always. for anyone who IS a Christian, these lyrics are VERY easy to understand. Formerly from a Baptist church, I know that 45 minutes it typically the amount of time the sermon lasts, preceded by 1/2 hour of praise and worship (music like theirs honoring the Father/Creator) The first time you hear a sermon and the Holy Spirit is speaking to you, you KNOW you need to act. You KNOW that Jesus went to the cross for YOU (and you feel like you alone) you HAVE to act. You are getting SO excited with the awesome realization when it HITS you that he DIED for you. He WANTS you to commit your life to him. This man who was crucified and died FOR YOU and was beat mercilessly and hung with 3 nails in YOUR stead...... wants to spend eternity with YOU. When THAT knowledge penetrates your heart, you just want to EXPLODE !! You cant WAIT for that sermon to be over because as SOON as that pastor asks you to commit your life to Christ you JUMP out of that seat and RUN down to the front to pray for forgiveness of your sins that kept you separated from Him, and ask him to come INSIDE your heart and rule and reign forever. You wait, he's still talking. You wait. he's still talking. He prays for people who's feeling the gentle tug of the Holy Spirit and as SOON as he does you BOLT for the front. Pray, ask forgiveness, and turn FROM sin (also what Jesus says) and commit to Him forever. When finished you feel like you're floating. You're SO excited. You're SO elated, you get in the car to drive home and HOPE you dont get in an accident due to the excitement, but KNOW, if you DO, you're now covered !!!! :-D I love these lyrics, they are SPOT ON !!!! |
