This song really means a lot to me, so ill just use my life history to describe this song. For three years i was sober: that was when i was still in high school. I worked hard for my pay: i struggled hard to make a lot of friends in my school. Left my tithe at the alter Closed my eyes when I prayed: i finally got what i wanted so bad. The ground is cold in Minnesota: But now that am through with high school i've lost all my friends and the place that brought me joy now brings nothing but sadness. Cotton falling on the town: why does it keep raining here. I share this hill with a willow: I still have their pictures in my hand, they will always be with me. But he never makes a sound: But its just a picture, it wont bring them back. But I'm the repo man and nobody weeps for me: I keep crying when i remember the good times, and it always leaves me wondering if they cry too whenever they remember me.................................... I guess not |
