| This song somehow applies to my life, because most of my cousins in my family (and also my family on my mom's side) are all musicians, whether keyboard or guitar or bass or even drums (which I play all of these instruments). Basically, if you love and you want to pursue music, go for it. Don't let anyone stop you from doing it. Doing so will keep you from wondering if you could have made it. My great grandfather passed away a few weeks ago and he was a great musician. Even in his late 80's, he could still play accordion, acoustic guitar, a violin, and a cello really well. He was 95 when he passed. This song inspires me to actually go out and play music, instead of chickening out and thinking I won't be that great at it. One of my cousins is the drummer for the band The Relay Company. He's a very talented musician. I picked up my talents from him, basically, but I also picked up talents from the rest of the family as well. I hope someday to make a difference by playing music for people. | |
