I love how dramatic that line is: You might as well be blind If you don't see me anymore This is one of her best songs. There's just such a pleasant and sincere flow to it. |

I think this song could be about one of two things. 1) Not aiming for anything past right now, and being satisfied with casual hookups because long term things aren't really practical and never really last or work out and cause so much pain. So it's better to avoid them and just focus on having a good time in the moment. OR 2) The key to long term relationships IS focusing on the right now. The lyrics seem to be warning against fixating too much on the past or present, (the people who are locked doors because they're waiting for something "serious" to happen with someone who "wants more", "let go of the souls you lost," ... etc.). So the solution is to let go, and just enjoy life and take things as they come. Either way, it's a great song. |

Man, I love this fucking song. Catchy, dancey. There's a tambourine! I can never understand any of Craft Spells lyrics so I'm glad they're on here. I think it's about shutting people out, though. Running away, closing the door. Shutting down and being selfish, then turning it around on them. In like the coolest, pattern continuing, freeing way. Just running away because it's hard to feel anything, and how good that feels sometimes. |

Isn't it, "There's a thing you like, that's threatening to stay" there at the end? I swear he's saying threatening to stay. I think that's a more interesting lyric, even if i'm wrong. |

| Generationals – Ten-Twenty-Ten Lyrics | 12 years ago |

I'm not sure what the title means, but it reminds me of french numbers. The way you say sixty-ten for seventy. And four-twenties for eighty. But that's probably not it. I love this song and I can't stop hearing it in my head. The title could also be like, 10 - 20 - 10. 10+10 = 20, and I think this song is about a break up. So the two people are back to themselves, but there's still this connection to 20, it's still between them. |
