Led Zeppelin – Bring It on Home Lyrics 12 years ago
Zeppelin at their very best. Bluesy-hard rock. I tried forever to get that main guitar riff down and then just woke up one day, picked up my black beauty, and there it was. Really seems so simple now it's hard to believe I struggled so.

Steve Earle – Guitar Town Lyrics 12 years ago
Just a great, great song by a great, great artist. Don't much care for his politics but hey, if I let that get in the way I'd be stuck listening to nothing but Ted Nugent (love) and Kid Rock (don't)

The Rolling Stones – Can't You Hear Me Knocking Lyrics 12 years ago
I've seen what I think are very good interpretations (guesses of course).and some ridiculous ones that just can't be right. Mick Taylor knocking on the door etc....and then Mick Taylor creating the main riff!? That qualifies as ridiculous. Mick Taylor did not create that riff, Keith Richards did. Even the most casual Stones fan would know that. As for what I think the song means? Not sure. I used to think it was just a continuation of Mick's alter ego as a stalker. Continuing the themes of Sympathy For the Devil and especially Midnight Rambler. All three are in my top 5 Stones songs with this one at the very top.

Audioslave – We Got The Whip Lyrics 12 years ago
What freedoms are these Islamic terrorists fighting for? The freedom to oppress and disfigure women? The freedom to slaughter any "infidel" they see fit without anyone's interference? They and you can call them whatever you want. They're not freedom fighters in any sane person's eyes.

Audioslave – We Got The Whip Lyrics 12 years ago
I suppose it could be a song about an over matched group fighting a much stronger foe in general but, considering the events of the day, I took it to be a traitorous commentary on how America's might always makes wrong and that men with "balls", "true men", fighting with less are brave to stand up to these formidable odds. I hope that's not what's being said because neither are true. America's might is often used for right and terrorists who AIM at and slaughter anyone they disagree with, maim women men and children have , at best, tiny balls. Still an enjoyable song to listen to.
