I believe the rivers and roads relate more to time than distance or geographic accidents. I've been very far away and when I came back a little closer to the people I loved I felt this song would be different (hurt less). But now we are still in different cities, very close in fact, but our lives are so far apart that I see there are still many rivers and roads till I reach her. |
