To me, this song is about a person who got out of a relationship that left them badly hurt and are still heart-broken. They met a new person, and they are desperate for love because they still have the memories of their old relationship. They need love to recover from the pain and ask for the new person to be kind and patient and to give them their love so that they can feel better. But then again, this is just my interpretation. |

| I feel this song has to do with a special place, where you feel like home, that one used to know for a long time, and had great times in. And they realize it when they have to leave, that this place is special, even if "man is a fickle child". Might be wrong, but that's how I understand it. | |
