Alecia wrote this song when she broke up with Carey Hart. There was a riff going round the studio of "na na na na na, na na na na, na na na na, na na na na" & she had the lines "I think I just lost my husband, I don't know where he went" pop into her head & said that's funny right?" Carey asked P!nk to perform at a club he was opening in Vegas & she got to perform this song in front of hundreds of people which was quote "HILARIOUS". The only way Alecia would agree to releasing So What as the first single of the album was if Carey was in the video BUT he hadn't heard the full song at this point & she wasn't even there when he saw the finished video. Its a good job he can take a joke & laugh at life. |

P!nk promised not to write an album full of lullabys for Willow & Run is the closest song to being a lullaby. She's basically saying no matter what life chucks at you you know you can always run back to your Mamas arms because I'm going to be here for you. Willow Sage Hart is such a lucky child to have two wonderful parents. |
