I really like your thoughts and you hit it on the head. I watched a video about this song with commentary and all of the members said "melodically, it's the polar opposite of planets but it ties in with it perfectly. It's like the other side of the story with the people holding onto their loved ones knowing it's the end and finally coming to terms with it." Syn said it's a ballad but it's not a "mooshy love ballad" and it is the other side of planets. |

It was said by either Syn or Zack that this song was about Shadows' son being born. About how Shadows knows he's made some mistakes in his life but he will do his best to be a great dad. (Something that shouldn't be too hard for him). Great song all around with a deep connection to the listener |

It was said in an interview that this song was supposed to be "Like a roller coaster through Hell" by Shadows himself. Also, I have a sort of Master of Puppets feel to it with the lyrics saying "I am your pride," "I am your war," etc. Great song all around that I feel has a sort of "sell yourself to the devil" feel to it |
