Lyrics are completely wrong, might leave another comment since I guess I haven't found anyone else yet that actually knows the meaning of this song. It's actually a big deal.. |

It isn't Aaron and that's the whole point, he's trying to connect with this fictional character because they are on the same plane in life.. This is a concept album, and it was admitted that this was created as more of an art piece to appreciate than music to listen to. It was also said the album was made for nothing more than to fit into the Boston Hardcore scene at the time and get out there. It was for attention from the scene. |

Tormented is a concept album meaning it's more of an art piece to appreciate. The story goes on following the life of a troubled young, depressed man. Throughout the entire album it takes you through different struggles in his life such as being mentally unstable wanting to hurt and break everything he sees, woman troubles, and hardcore narcotic addictions. This song symbolizes no matter how much progress he thinks he makes nothings better. He's still in the same state, in the same place, getting no where in life. The walls are figurative. As for the thoughts in his head telling him to cut people flesh and stop their heads, that's the uncontrollable mental disability. He hates it. He hates himself not being able to control his hatred of all. He turns to drugs. He begins to crave and love the stab of needles and basks in the smells his own filth as he lays there trying to waste himself away in a high. A disgusting mess of a man. At the end of the track, a gun is fired. If you listen to the entire album, before the first track plays a gun is cocked, the last thing you hear is it firing. |
