This song is so uplifting! My friend asked me to listen to it a few days ago and I swear I'm in love. "I used to bite my tongue and hold my breathe, scared to rock the boat and make a mess, so I sat quietly, agreed politely" In the beginning she talks about how things used to be and the chorus just throws all the passiveness out of the window and introduces a "new era" of speaking up, being confident in yourself, and standing your ground. This song made my day when I heard it. It's THEE most empowering thing I have ever heard. LOVE IT!! "Cause I am a champion and you're gonna hear me roar" |
