I think "bedroom" is basically a metaphor for home, or a place in life. He talks about his parent's bedrooms (his life with his parents), his bedroom (his life alone), and the bedrooms of his friends (his life with his friends). He's feeling nostalgic, wondering what happened to his old realities. |

I don't think he's talking about bullets. I think he's saying that she changes the heavy bad thoughts that way him down into something beautiful and worthwhile. She makes things better from him. As the day grows dim (as he starts to feel sad), I hear you sing a golden hymn (she does something to make him happy). |
