| I assume that you are all aware of the band's and untilmately Allen's very personal relationship with Patti Smith. Sometimes we project our own sins upon our idols and neglect the fact of their own [ersonal existence free from our preconceived perceptions. If we look at the timing of certain tunes, the actual time of the writing of a lyric here or there and the concurrent events, well..we might just see something more insightful than a line of coke and a whore as the night burns into dawn...or maybe not. | |
