I think it's about his love of modern technology. I used to think he was talking about a woman but I think he literally meant 'computer love'. "In your eyes you have that glow. Could it be your face I've seen on my computer screen?" If you think about the era in which he wrote the song, the internet hadn't been introduced yet so how was he seeing her face on his computer screen before skype? And the "won't you keep me warm tonight" seems more like he's referring to a warm glowing computer screen. I could be wrong but the more i listen to this song, the more it seems like he means technology as opposed to a woman. |
