That's a good way of looking at it. I thought it could also be seen as a way to find comfort in death. Once they have both passed he will still want to spend every moment together despite having all of the amazing people throughout time with them in the afterlife. The cherry on top to spending eternity together is of course that his significant other( who came into his life after his mother's passing) will finally get to meet his mom. Great song and great album. I think it is by far Train's best work. |
