My name isn't actually Tanya, but feel free to call me that! I'm quiet but thoughtful. Besides art, I love to listen to music and decipher them to better understand them myself. I usually hang out in deviantART, which my username would be ExquisiteColors.

Linkin Park – In My Remains Lyrics 10 years ago
One of my favorite songs by these guys, and I relate to this, but here we go. I'm going to label each part as 1, 2, 3, etc. so hang on while I explain since I can't summarize this baby. ;)

1. Getting out of this drama/situation/whatever you want to call it. While getting out of this, he/she is trying to find answers on why and whatnot in their mental pain and fear. He/she is not physically broken but is mentally messed up. Still, this person is trying to find happiness despite what has happened.

2. Just now I realized I don't have time so let me speed though this. This person is broken and but wants everything bad as he/she has seen to be gone from the surface of the Earth.

3. almost the same as #!, but he/she addresses that he/she knows what the other did to them.

In the interlude or whatever you call it (like an army...) I saw it as the person who's hurting's others realization that this is going to slap him/her in the face.

Wish I had more time to explain but that gets the gist.

Linkin Park – Bleed It Out Lyrics 10 years ago
For some reason, I think of somebody who's been in war for the longest time. It's like an external and internal battle within him or something of the kind. It's kind of like nobody wants this war to continue on for ages and neither does the solider. And the entire time, the soldier knows he's losing his mind from this mess, and understands that the enemies wouldn't care if he died because he's not on their side at all.

I think that's all I got...now to look at comments. ;)

10 Years – Fix Me Lyrics 10 years ago
This song reminds me of myself actually, which is why I came with this understanding of it. I've wasted so much time being somebody who I'm not, but you know what? Screw it now, I'm not going to be this fake persona. I'm going to be me, whether I like it or not. I'm fine with you throwing rude comments at me, in fact I enjoy it. I'm right where I should be in life and whatever you can call it. This is who I am, and "don't try and fix me."

I should sing this song out loud one day in school. :)

10 Years – Backlash Lyrics 10 years ago
I'm so happy to hear this song again! Haven't heard it in a while. Anyways, here I go with my big fat train of thoughts...going to have to go do this one part at a time, just saying...

At first, this person is praying that nobody gets out of this situation, whatever the degree is, alive. Apparently, everybody has sinned too much to get out alive either way. It's like a plea for peace or something like that. The leader of this situations (whoever decided to make this situation happen) is in a fantasy land, not caring what is happening to others at all. It's already falling, but this person's head is in the clouds, so he/she doesn't realize it yet. Now the person who was praying is trying to get this leader to realize it's all going to come back to hit him/her in the face and that it's not going to be any fun at all.

Now, the person is wonder if anybody will be alive. This is like a desperate hope to stay alive because you can only live once. And this leader is apparently a coward for running away from the truth, although it'll only lead him to hurt himself/herself in the end.

I don't know if it's just me, but it reminds me of Hitler and the Holocaust. That thought just ran right thought me right now. But this was a lot longer that I thought...I suppose its fine. :)

Shinedown – Amaryllis Lyrics 10 years ago
For some reason, I get two interpretations of this song.

The first one I got which has been for quite awhile now has to do with love. He/she is trying to get the other, who is shy least to say, to show their true colors and not be afraid of anything. In this case, the one who's not shy is down in a bed, sick, but still wants their lover to go on and be themselves not to just them, but to everybody they know. Kind of like a "I'll be there to help you boost your self esteem, but I can't help you right now since I'm laying in bed sick." sort of thing.

Second one I thought of was a dying person. This person is dying on their deathbed, and sees the person they've wanted to see for ages. And right after the person's death, does that individual realize that it's okay to be you and it's alright to show your true colors and bloom.

Or, to simplify everything, I want you to be yourself. We all can be seen as an amaryllis. Bloom one day, there's no need to fear. Show your colors to us. It makes the sick ones, either mentally or physically, better.

I think that was three...whatever. I think way too much. :)

Linkin Park – Lost In The Echo Lyrics 10 years ago
Personally, I think this song is about learning that this person had this great friend, but then learned that it was all one sided. But instead of falling, the person learned from it and is now stronger. This time, this person will NOT be close to that fake friend of theirs and is now on their own but in a much better health.

And this new idea came to me. It reminds me of a death of a loved one, and trying to get through it. Wasn't that the music video, now thinking about it? Maybe...yeah it was. I like to take it either way, just as long as it makes since to the fact that the person dealing with this pain gets stronger in the end and is more conscious of the world around him/her.
