| @[lhuang102:3717] I think everyone can hear this song how they choose to hear it, but this song is definitely referring to something more permanent than a breakup. The "take my body" line is reference to when the only way they'll be together again. As noted below, the "if you loved me, why'd you leave me" isn't referring to a significant lover changing their mind, as much as it is the speaker (as for many people who lose loved ones) angry that their love has passed without them... the feeling of "how could you leave me on this earth alone?" And the rest is him/her contemplating how they'll ever be able to love someone as much as the former. | |
