| Modest Mouse – Gravity Rides Everything Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| I believe the song is about all the worry related to reaching some sort of afterlife. The writing on the shelf, in the bathrooms, the bad motels, is the Bible, which can typically be found in all three places. The ideas presented in it don't agree with the "gravity plan," where everything falls into place when you die. Some sink, some lay, and that's better than watching the person's spirit float away toward some false ideal. | |
