"Tiger run around the tree. Follow the leader run and turn into butter " is a direct reference to the children's book Little Black Sambo. I can still remember reading it as a small child. I think rikdad's comments are spot on.
I recently started listening to this album for the first time in 20 years, and it still sounds fantastic - my favorite R.E.M album by far. |
