I feel like this song is pointing towards a break up in the beginning then realizing that love is still there, and can flourish if you let it. "'Cause even with the lights gone out I know The rhythm that our hearts pound out rolls on" Even if you are in darkness, your heart will always pound on and want for that feeling again. Again this is just my interpretation, but nonetheless it's a great song! |
