| There are some lyrics I don't quite understand, but the general idea is that a girl left this guy(the writer) on Boxing Day, the day after Christmas. She may had left him for a stupid reason which is why the writer says "it's sad how far you ran". He also shows that he wants to try and works things out, and make things better, and how their relationship could "reignite like fireflies". | |
