Looks like a consolation song. I think is directed to someone that lost his/her mother, and she offers her help (such as protection from bullets and ghosts) to ease the pain of this person. And the way she sings, makes me think she (the singer) had gone through this kind of pain too, so, in this case, it may serve as self consolation too, I believe the spiders on her windows are a distraction, a way that she found to try to forget what happened and make the time run, however she'd rather have the control of the time, so she would go back and spend more time with the beloved person that is gone. |
