To me this song definitly has alot to dp with faith, and the struggles that come with it. It could also involve mental illness, and the medication not solving her problems, so she turns to God. It could mean dependancy on drugs, and then turning to God. This medication, cant save me And desperation, takes hold of me I wanted to believe in all of this I wanted to believe in you Her struggles bring her back to a place she didn't expect to be, relying on God. She tries to trust Him to take away her stuggles, and not bring her back to the desperate state she is in. All I am, all I have Leads me down these roads again Take my hand, show me the way Never bring me back here Determination, is pushing me Perseverance, is what I bleed I wanted to believe in all of this I wanted to believe in you She's done all she can to Get God's attention, but He does not answer her prayers, or at least not in the way she wants Him to.
