I think that she met her 'french dude' in her work place, which was very sudden and she noticed him as soon as she turned around and got shy, so attempted to avoid him until he made contact, which made her feel more stupid and slightly hot- blush, "When you came in the room/ Didn't know what to do/ Boy, I melted so fast" And after their first date to what ever date she couldn't get him out of her head, "You stick to me like glue, oh, it's true/ I can't get you off my brain."
