The sick perhaps ODing or just vomiting. She probably owes money for drugs and they are coming after her. Bang bang being gun shots. He wants to protect her, but is in over his head. Just my feeling.

Blueprint blue is like those cheap girlie magazines. They have that get to know the person section with the personal letter, pin-up type pic, turn-ons, etc. The polite way to refer to porn use to be that it's a "foreign movie", referring to the less stringent standards of R rated movies in Europe. I really think it's about getting spit out of the bottom of the porn industry.

Terrific song. It's just a narrative about a totally screwed up disfunctional family. Son has no talent but is so clueless he thinks he does; Mother is selfish and lives dangerously for the instant thrills (various lovers, maybe drugs); the neglected daughter has impure thoughts of a incestrious nature; the Father thinks he's the head of the average family, lacking any self awareness of reality.

I agree, great song from a great group. They went through two distinct styles. This one was the early power trio version with Eric Bell. Great 60's sounding band. They are of course more famous for the harmonizing guitar style with Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson. Very unique sound. Of course, Phil Lynott's singing, song writing and bass playing is what really made this an unbelievable band.

Yes, it is about Romie. :) The song is basically a story about the perils of fame and money. Family of losers from his humble beginnings is making false accusations about him in an attempt to extort money. Attempts of being part of his entourage, groupies and other hanger-on's have already been thwarted.
