its clear that "and on cold leather seats well it suddenly struck me, i just might die with a smile on my face" is about getting laid in the back of a car. i think the song itself is about bullying or maybe a feeling of sexual inadequacy one would feel if they've never slept with someone yet. |

like when she says "i kept waiting for you to find what i see in you" i see it as somone constantly trying to show how much they love them but it isnt making a difference. like if the person you wer dating was depressed. |

the song is most definitely about being in love with someone who isnt changing a problem in there lives and losing patience with them and painfuly saying goodbye. |
