Warning: cheesy interpretation, but true :P So, when I first heard this, I fell in love with it...such a beautiful song! My thoughts at that point were that it's just a love song. I didn't listen to it for a while, but then I remembered it & really listened to the words this time around. My boyfriend just asked me out, and it's my first relationship, and I'm bad at opening up to people and being close to them, so when I listened to this song then, then I thought "can I be close to you?" as in "I'm scared to open up and that I won't be able to love you the way I know I can." I told you...cheesy, but I think the song is just about liking this person so much, so much that they are all you can think about ("you fill my head with pieces of a song I can't get out"/"the whole world it is sleeping, but my world is you"); and not wanting to mess it up or not being able to love them because of something you aren't able to do. |
