Alice Cooper – No More Mr. Nice Guy Lyrics 12 years ago
This isn't a very complex song, but a beautiful and relatable one nonetheless.

The narrator was brought up to be very nice, caring polite, etc, the archetypal "Mr. Nice Guy". But his teen rebellion hit. Hard. He stopped being the nice, clean cut person that he was as a young child, and began to become "sick" and "obscene". The final verse is about how this phase has negatively impacted himself and his family, causing them to become social pariahs.

Garbage – Not Your Kind Of People Lyrics 12 years ago
I think this song has quite a bit do with the book "The Catcher in the Rye". Holden, the narrator of the book and subject of the song claims to lie about everything, and refers to everyone else as "phony". (in spite of the fact that he himself is "phony") The narrator of the song addresses this by saying,
"You seem kind of phony
Everything's a lie"

Also, the subject (Holden) wishes only to be accepted by others,
"Running around trying to fit in
Wanting to be loved"

But keeps getting in his own way in this sense, as his misanthropic nature causes him to dislike others,
"Creatures you despise"
