It means after they had sex. Heavenly speech... they spoke of love and bantered and sweet talked, then their bodies "threw holy heat" that's kind of explanatory... "the angles sing" I assume it is a poetic way to say they climaxed... in other words, it was all about sex for the guy, and when they were done, he was ready to move on. He had never intended to settle down with this girl, it was a momentary thing and he said what he thought she'd want to hear in the moment. She later realizes she'd treated ppl this way herself and though she knew he would get his in the end, she hoped he wouldn't hurt to the extent she was hurting. It ends saying we all have feelings and need to treat others with the same care we are in need of. |
