this song is about a morning when JR woke up and found that a guy had gotten drunk and mowed down a couple teenagers in his neighborhood. This is a place he grew up in and felt very devastated for the loss. It also hit him when he realized he and his friends would hang out in those same streets when they were younger. |

This song was written during a time when JR was filming a movie in LA and flying back and forth from Nashville. During his many flights he fell in love with the Nashville Skyline. If you have ever seen a sunset in Nashville in summer you would get it for sure. |
