I think this song is about a guy who was a player led her on and broke her heart. But, when he found a new girl she went right along and broke his heart. Now Marina is glad that karma had taken it's toll on that jerk. |

So in my opinion this song is for some guy who's just trying to be tough when he's not. The robot she refers to in the song is a metaphor for having no feelings and not caring about anything. So basically she's trying to say that everyone has feelings and they're not really all tough and mighty like they say they are. |
