For her, just frompast songs I;ve heard by her, I believe it's about a romatic relationship failing. But I see it a different way. The line "You and I walk a fragile line." sounds like me and this boy that I know and we used to be friends then one day after he was tired of being thought that I was dating him we just ended the entire friendship. But every time I see him I can't get rid of the feeling of betrayal, hurt, and the most powerful thing in it is I still care about him as a friend even if he hardly acknowledges that I exist. So I'm "haunted." |

I don't think it's about them dying. Because she says "I though I had you figured out." and "You and I walk a fragile line." I think it's more like someone{probably a lover.} has broken her heart by breaking up with her but she still has feeling for him. |

I love this song. Because in a way it helps with something I'm really hurt about. A few years back I had a friend who in essence ripped my heart out. It was pretty complicated but the lines: "You barely even cross my mind." I always ACT as if I just remember him as a classmate not as if I remember him as the person who caused me to become very easy to upset and just destroyed me. But it isn't true. Because even after everything he still WAS the very first person in my school to be my friend. So, it still hurts. This song expresses exactly what I feel just as opposed to love it's a friendship for me. |
