Lenny Kravitz – Dig In Lyrics 12 years ago
Bill Nye should have played this song during a segment explaining how the digestive system works and how lil shyttles are made. Dig in, coming out the other side, a repetitive process that occurs again and again, Over and over. Much like the lyrics of Kravits.

We Are Scientists – Down The Hall Lyrics 12 years ago
Sounds to me like he's in a relationship with a callous, unforgiving woman.

She's rightfully paranoid, angry and insecure because he keeps phucking up the relationship by making the same mistakes again and again. "Reverting to a former state".

He's been caught soliciting attention from some other girl in the past and she just won't forgive and forget. His past sins are always "catching up with him", "following him," "showing up" in the re-occuring dream (his happy peaceful moments in the relationship) "like he never left": Bringing the pair back to square one. He's trying desperately to live down his failures and be happy with the girl, "Why don't you help me out" but always ends up "Right where he was before". Left with a scarlett letter on his chest and lonely at her side "with baggage he doesn't need" (i.e. her)

Burned out, craving problem free affection, finding it elsewhere during his many exiles to the dog house, She won't forget the first time he strayed, turning her back to him and shutting him out, making it so much easier to keep falling for anyone who bats their eyelashes at him. He places the blame on her in the end, "How could you let me get so far away?" but knows he is wrong to do so, so he writes an uber-ambigous song to hide the shame of his crimes therein.

Remember kids: there's always two sides to every story. The victim of the old "he said, she said" bullshyt is never 100% innocent, and usually just a crybaby volunteer with no room to bitch, but plenty of friends dumb enough to listen.

If you love someone and value the relationship: stay away from this "Hall"- and from day one, do not set forth to walk down it with that first mistake she'll never forget, that you'll always regret. After that your union just becomes a borderline psycho cycle that twists everything between the two of you.
