Very simple song, written for, and about, his wife. His thoughts as they were on a night out. A long way from his best, but sadly his best known largley because of the fact it got huge coverage and airtime when Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson went public with it as "their song". |

The track is a follow up, or sequel given the way the artist tends to tell stories through his songs, to the previous song borderline. Upbeat song as the soldier in the previous track has made it back from the war, albeit to the hospital and his girl was waiting abd finds him. The optimism post-war is reflected through the song. Obviousl stuff, I know, but a nice sequel all the same. |
