In my interpretation, The girl's father threw her boyfriend out the father did not like the boyfriend. It was very late when he threw him out, it was also raining hard with zero Visibility. He was crying because he knew she wasn't allowed to date him. Between his tears and the weather, and also being Dark out and late. He either crashed into a tree or Drove the Truck off the road. As far seeing her in the truck she's remembering the good times she had with him when He was alive. That is my first Interpretation of this song. My Second Interpretation is the father doesn't like the boy. He is a gun nut and Shoots him out back and burry's him in the woods. Then he goes back in and says, "He just left!" This song could be taken as my relationship too. I have been dating this girl for 3 months, and like I said about the My Wish Song. Our Fighting could possibly be this Lack of communication because we are both afraid to tell the other our true feelings, I'd like to tell everyone I do see a future with this girl! My interpretation is that this is about a relationship that starts out healthy and quickly turns unhealthy. Hence the "I hope that the days come easy and the moments pass slow, And each road leads you where you want to go." That part means do you still want to be with me even though our relationship is turning bad. He loves her she loves him. However, they are both afraid to tell the other how to make things better for the fact that they fear losing one another. Hence the "And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose, I hope you choose the one that means the most to you. And if one door opens to another door closed." That could also mean, it's not over quite yet. but if you decide to leave I will never take you back and I want you to know there will never be a guy or girl as good as me!
