That's it - so many of Foreman's lyrics are sublime, which is why I enjoy and appreciate them. People will miss God because they're looking for the "Blinding Light", something that will be so obvious that it is impossible not to believe, or they may not believe otherwise - (Yeah, I've been waiting all my life). I think this is calling out people who may miss God looking for a "Blinding Light", and that isn't how God works. But the lyrics are very loving and respectful to men and women both in their tone. Plus the music is very catchy and fun - I am not near tired of this song after many, many listens. |
