I think this song is about being inspired by other PEOPLE, not by other TASKS or other OBJECTS. "Give the glory to the MAN... when there's magic in the music, it's the SINGER, not the SONG," means "give credit to the human who did the task- if it's something worthwhile, that "something" is the person behind it, not the actual creation. Genius song. Took me years to figure it out. |
