So I agree with it being around the Sherlock Holmes book, the Hound of the Baskervilles but I wanted to add some more depth. This is all my opinion. A toast to the last of a dying breed They're crawling back to bed They're falling back to sleep I think this bit is about the Baskervilles line being killed and there aren't that many left now A chill touches the base of your neck Who'd call by at this hour? Who's standing at my step? Henry Baskerville (one of the last Baskervilles) is scared of the moor where the hound that supposedly kills his family lives so it's saying he's scared at night and asking himself questions and getting the 'chills'. Alright, we tried to help (x2) So pull back the cover tonight Sherlock Holmes and John Watson try to help and solve the case. I think, and correct me if I'm wrong This bit sounds like Victorian literature when the book was written. This end was meant for you Since before you were born There was a curse on his family before he was born. So here's to the last of a dying breed They're crawling back to bed They're falling back to sleep Alright, we tried to help (x2) Shit son, you've got no act Loosen up those muscles Straighten up that back About him being scared again? Alright, we tried to help (x2) So pull back the cover tonight A toast! To the last of a dying breed They're crawling back to bed They're crawling back to sleep |
