This song seems to talk about the uniqueness of each moment/place in life relating this uniqueness to the sight, thus to the positioning of one's in relation to life. The idea is maybe that the union of time and space known as 'event' gains meaning only by the conscient awareness of a viewer. It also seems to refer to a specific moment in which someone who is enjoying this moment/place as unique tries to teach their companion (?) to develop this kind of look towards life. |

I'd mix JakeBacon's comments with other people's comments to make my own. I think this song is about the causality/choice wonderings we have in a perspective of a relationship, its choices and imperatives, which are compared to the events of the phisical world. |

The end of a relationship is always a pain (in the ass?). But it might be even more painful for one part of the split couple - the unlucky one. So, the one who did not take the initiave of putting an end to the relationship, the one who reads desperate letters of the others vain effort to get back together, this is a lucky person. All it takes to he or she is to let the sun shine its shine and wait for a better future with all the wounds healed. |

This song maybe talks about new love beginning while, let's say, "old" love is still there and so the bittersweet feeling that this was not what it was supposed to be - but maybe what love is. And this seems to carry the ambiguities of a wanted love in a unwanted and socialy condenable manner. The ambiguities of wanting to be with someone and not wanting to feel bad/wrong about it. |
